Seance

Every AI terminal, in one window

Seance runs all your AI terminals side by side: Claude Code, Codex, Grok or any CLI.

Each project gets a lead that does the work, and the Invoke phone app pings you when one needs an answer.

Seance's Chat view: a list of projects with a creature beside each, a conversation with one project's lead, and a tracker docked on the right

One lead for every project

Its creature dances while it works and goes still when it's done or waiting. One glance tells you who's busy.

How it fits together

Space
A room for one part of your life, like Work, Home or Side Projects.
Circle
One project, like Trip Journal, with its lead, helpers and to-do list.
Lead
The AI in charge of a circle. You talk to Trip Journal's lead, and it hands out the work.
Pane
One live terminal: a lead, a helper or your own shell.
Summon
Call in a build helper while the lead keeps talking to you.

Three ways to look at it

Stage puts one lead up close, with what it's doing and what comes next.

A notebook that survives the night

Leads write down what they're doing, what's next and what they're waiting on. If a session crashes, the next one reads the notes and carries on.

Your leads, in your pocket

Invoke is the phone app. Away from your desk, a lead texts you when it needs an answer. Tap a reply and the work carries on. Photos and files go both ways.

Every circle keeps a list

The lead names each job as it takes it on, and the count in the header shows what's still open.

Your PRs, by project

Each thread lists your open pull requests with checks and review state. Phone only for now.

Walk away

Say afk in any pane and the Mac stays awake with its lid closed, while leads reach you on your phone. It ends when you touch the keyboard or trackpad, or when the battery runs low.

Twelve themes

They restyle the whole app, and Claude Code's colors follow along. Pick one and this page changes too.

Run it yourself

Sessions run on a Linux machine and show up on Linux or a Mac. The Mac app is one download, and the kit adds Invoke, AFK mode and the Claude Code theme sync.

For Apple silicon Macs. The app isn't Apple signed yet, so macOS asks you to confirm the first time. Leads, Invoke and the kit are built around Claude Code. Start from the basics is the original Seance, without these extras.
